For some of our services that are provided by our nurse practitioner, we occasionally get rejections due to the service not being payable at place of service code 71 (clinic owned/operated by a local health department). However, these are covered under POS code 11 (Office). I am wondering what POS code others use, especially if you have a provider in your office, and how we could go about billing these under 11 instead of 71 and not be at risk of audit.
