Do any local health departments rent space to a mental health provider? If so, is it a for profit or non-profit and does it matter?

Pam from Dade used to rent to her FQHC Dental. I don’t think it matters profit or not

What about RSMO 205.060 on use of facilities:   205.060. Limitations on use of facilities. — The board of county health center trustees shall not enter into contracts for the private practice of medicine, nor shall any of its personnel practice medicine nor dispense drugs, vaccines or serums for personal gain, nor shall its facilities be used for such purpose in any way except as it may be necessary and agreed upon between the board and county commission or commissions for the care of the indigent for whom the commission or commissions may be responsible, or except in furtherance of diagnostic and communicable disease control programs.

Ugh you actually read that stuff? I believe that anything we do to help our communities in ways that services are offered we should. When that was written mental health was a stigma. if your board/commission believes it is a necessary service to your community – do it.
The rent should be reasonable and customary for the area and doesn’t go into your personal pocket.
