    We really need your help! Please share this information with everyone you know. We are still actively seeking applications for the Executive Director position.

    The Missouri Association of Local Public Health Agencies (MoALPHA) is seeking applicants for Executive Director.

    MoALPHA is a voluntary association of local public health departments (city and county) in Missouri responsible for improving leadership skills and knowledge of core competencies, and engaging members in a unified purpose creating a strong, viable, respected organization. This is a contracted position anticipating an average of 10 hours a week, with an additional 8 hours per week during the State Legislative Session.
    Minimum Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Public Health, Health Care Administration, Public or Business Administration, the biological or social sciences, Education, or a closely related field; and,

    Two or more years of professional (non-clerical) experience in public health, public or health care administration, non-profit organization, or a closely related field. Preferred experience includes Administration of a Local Public Health Agency. Qualified experience may substitute for education.

    Candidate must be able to work independently and be self- driven. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

    Candidate provides own workspace, office equipment, cell phone, computer, email account, and internet with a $150 per month reimbursement stipend.

    Travel and training expenses will be reimbursed per Board approval
