2015 Public Health Nursing Award nominations are now open. The Council for Public Health Nursing is accepting nominations for two separate awards to recognize nursing excellence in Missouri. 1) The Public Health Nursing Award is to honor and recognize a Missouri Public Health Nurse working in a local public health agency or educational setting. 2) The Public Health Nursing Leadership Award is to honor and recognize any Missouri nurse currently practicing in public health nursing. The public health nursing awards are an opportunity to recognize and thank nurses who are doing great work in creating health communities and moving public health forward in Missouri. If you know or work with one of these nurses please consider nominating them today. All nominations must be received by June 30. Recipients will be announced in August with awards presented in September at the Annual Missouri Joint Public Health Conference in Columbia.
